See below for my Graphic Design / marketing work.

The Brief:
The assignment was to pick a brand and act as if you are part of their internal marketing and design team and reimagine their social media campaigns and create a poster they could use in their business.

The Background:
As someone who love pets, I found a small business called Scout’s Honour to research and complete this assignment. Scout’s Honour makes pet merit badges that you can sew or iron on your pet’s bandanas, beds, clothes, or any other fabric material. They specialize in acknowledging your pet’s personality and embracing their individuality.

The Plan:

On the far left, I created a quiz that could go out in Scout’s Honour’s newsletter or as a pop up action on their website to help customers narrow down which patches are right for their pet. The quiz is a fun and interactive way for users to feel more connected to the site and their pet. The other images are mockups of social media graphics they could use to better standardize their brand. Using their colors and iconic Scout mascot, I focused on making Scout the dog synonymous with the brand itself, and being able to use Scout in place of the full brand name as needed.

Pet merit badge quiz with questions and multiple-choice answers about pet owners' preferences and pet behaviors, organized in colored boxes with instructions and result categories.
An embroidered patch with the words "NATURE ENTERHUSIAMS" surrounding an orange fruit with a branch and two green leaves. The patch is placed on a light green background, and there is a small dog illustration in the bottom left corner of the image.
An information sheet about a YouTube channel featuring a green background, Scout the dog, and a badge with Scout's Honor written on it.
Guide to Scout's Honour logo featuring a smiling dog illustration and a paw print, with historical and modern design elements.
A Facebook post example with a yellow section showcasing pixelated images of colorful donuts and a cartoon paw print with the text 'Scout's Honour'.
A branding presentation for Scout's Honour featuring a logo with a cartoon dog and a paw, a cover photo with the brand's name in large letters and dog paw illustration, and a profile photo showing a dog illustration on a green background with text describing the brand's mascot and logo details.
A graphic with various pet badges, including 'Belly Rub Club,' 'Zoomies,' 'Trees Are For Pets,' 'Doggy Paddle Pro,' and 'Wildlife Watch,' and a paw print labeled 'Scout's Honour' on a yellow background.

The Brief:
The assignment was to help shape the next evolution of modern outdoor gear through product research and development by creating 3-5 new products with mockups and explanations.

The Background:
We were assigned to work in teams to create outdoor products that fit into the brand guidelines that were given to us. The brand was rooted in exploration, story, and function, and our products needed to relay that mood.

Outdoor brand

A presentation slide displaying images of two dogs wearing cooling bandanas and a person wearing a cooling bandana, along with text explaining the benefits of the bandanas for keeping dogs cool.
Collection of educational books and guides about regional plants, birds, and animals, including illustrations and descriptions for outdoor exploration and learning.

The Plan:

Before collaborating as a team, we were assigned to brainstorm individually products that we thought would work for the Outdoor Brand. On the left are two of my original ideas, one being a Plant, Bird, and Animal Guide that would be regional specific and would foster interaction with the book and the landscape through a bingo-like activity while exploring. The Stay Cool bandana was something that my own dog uses frequently in the hot times of the year, and pairing that with a matching bandana for the owner. This seemed fun and whimsical while also being practical for being outdoors. Ultimately, our team picked my bandana set idea, as seen on the far right, and picked the BootBuddy Clip and GlowShield Leash from our other group members. For those, I help support the graphics and descriptions of the products.

A Trail tool called BootBuddy Clip with a wooden handle and black brush head, with multi-use carabiner, reflective branding, and interchangeble brush heads for gear and pet paws, designed for outdoor cleaning.
A coiled blue and green braided dog leash with a black carabiner clip, a digital counter, and a citronella strip holder on a beige background, featuring text describing the features of the GlowShield Leash.
A product display of a black and white bandana set called Cool Buddies Bandana Set. The set includes two bandanas with a geometric pattern, labeled for different purposes: one for you, one for your cool buddy. The background shows a light yellow color with green accents.
